Machined Finish Wheel Repairs
Many of the new high-end vehicles are being sold with machined finish wheels. A machined finish is applied by spinning the wheel on a Computer Numeric Control (CNC) lathe. The CNC machine creates a surface which has a high metallic shine. This process creates small grooves in the finish similar to a wax record ( or even like the surface of a CD for the younger crowd). It's a beautiful finish, but can easily be ruined by using the wrong equipment.
